My services
I was granted the privilege of becoming an authorised marriage celebrant in 2008. I am honoured to have performed in excess of 60 weddings, 25 namings and 20 funerals in that time.
To retain appointment and authorisation, celebrants must undertake, at a minimum; five hours of professional development each calendar year. Only courses approved by the Commonwealth Government and Attorney Generals Department count towards those five hours. This ensures I stay up to date with current legislation and requirements necessary to perform your ceremony.
My ceremony/service fees are very reasonable and all inclusive. You can expect to receive your official Certificate of Marriage from Births, Deaths and Marriages around six weeks after your wedding.
I have my own public address sound system for music and microphones to ensure your guests don’t miss a word of your ceremony.
I’m very comfortable and capable of working with different traditions and backgrounds: I am sensitive to the diverse family dynamics and cultures of our communities. Be assured I have the emotional intelligence to deal with situations that occasionally arise.
I wholeheartedly support diversity and equal rights and proudly perform same sex marriages.
Having previously worked as a wedding photographer; I am extremely mindful of the importance of your photographs. I will work closely with your photographer to ensure your memories are perfectly captured.
Celebrancy for is not a job for me: It is a passion. This is why I don’t have any pressure to ‘secure’ bookings. Your day will unfold smoothly when you feel comfortable communicating with your celebrant: it pays to speak to a few.
